Love yourself

"Love yourself like the way you wanna people to love you."

A sentence from my dearly sister to widen my eye on this one thing: love yourself.

It's like be obsess with yourself, your attitude, your behaviour, your personality.. We have to love ourselves first before we let people come into our life and love us. It's about making our own self a priority; do whatever we wanna do, live our lives the way we want it to be, achieve or chase whatever dreams we want it to turn out to. It's all about ourselves.

I'm not talking about being a selfish but I highlighted on loving ourselves like the way you want to be loved. It's always started from us, within us. People will love you once you love yourself so much. In this context, you must embrace yourself. Love yourself means that you make yourself proud. If you think being confident can make you happy, then go ahead. Find your strength. Work on your weakness. Stay positive when somehow life or people brings you down. You know yourself better. You own yourself.

I learn to stay strong in whatever circumstances occur in my life. I know it's not easy. I know that I'm not too strong but I believe there's always a Highest Power who helps me to go through it. You are what you believed in. Believe in what Allah has specially for you. I'm grateful to be born as a Muslim. I'm glad I don't think about committing suicide when things get so harsh and life gets upside down. The thing that comfort me is that 'there's Allah who will help you to go through this hardship. There's always a hikmah in what has happened'. It's really comforting my heartache. I do believe in miracle. It will happen one day. One fine day. As what I wished for. A better version of what has been planned for me. In sha Allah.

For now, do love yourself first. Put yourself as a priority. Embrace yourself like you're your own idol. If you need to give yourself a good compliment, JUST GO AHEAD! Everything will be fine. Yes, all is well. I'll be great. You'll be awesome!!!
